Hendricks County Democratic Party Opens Headquarters to Power Get Out The Vote Efforts Ahead of November Election
Volunteer Fair and Open House Set for Saturday, September 26
AVON, IN — The Hendricks County Democratic Party today announced the opening of a new headquarters location dedicated to Get Out The Vote (GOTV) operations ahead of the November 3rd election. The office, located at 75 Queensway Drive in Avon, will serve as the central hub for volunteer coordination, canvassing, phone banking, and other field efforts through Election Day.
Party Chair Linda Lasiter said the new space marks a turning point for the local party's organizing work.
"The Hendricks County Democratic Party has been focused on the goal of increasing voter turnout for the Mid-Term election for several months," Lasiter said. "As we approach the finish line, being able to consolidate efforts to one physical location is a game changer. This acquisition means we can operationalize our field plans much more efficiently and effectively in the run up to November. I am beyond thrilled to have a space that Democrats can come together and work toward achieving our overarching vision: Inform, Engage, Include."
To celebrate the new headquarters and welcome volunteers, the party will host a Volunteer Fair and Open House this Saturday, September 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the new headquarters. Community members are invited to tour the office, learn about upcoming GOTV activities, and sign up to get involved ahead of the election.
