Outreach

Our Mission

The Outreach Committee’s (OC) mission is to raise awareness about the Hendricks County Democratic Party, to get involved locally with coordinated efforts, and to continue to foster a welcoming and positive view of Democrats for our neighbors. Scroll down for pics of Dems forwarding the OC’s mission.

What we do

The Outreach Committee (OC) is where connection, community, and action come together. We bring Democrats out into the community through parades, fairs, and festivals -- sharing election resources, showing up for our neighbors, and having fun along the way.

We also create welcoming spaces for Democrats to connect with one another through monthly meetings, coffee meetups, trivia nights, and other social events. From quarterly meals to hands-on community projects, the OC is all about getting involved, building relationships, and making a visible, positive impact together.

Have a great idea for the oC?

Get involved!

The OC doesn't just wiggle our noses; our Volunteers make the magic happen!

We offer opportunities for every level of involvement-from ongoing OC Team Member roles like coordinators and captains to one & done options such as parade walkers, festival booth attendants, food prep, and special events.

No matter how much time you have, there's a way to get involved.
