The Hendricks County Democratic Party (HCDP) Fundraising Committee has had an incredible year, driving real impact and keeping our local movement strong, energized, and funded. As we look toward our upcoming goals, we are looking for a enthusiastic leader to step into the role of Fundraising Chair and help guide our dedicated team into the future!

Whether you’re a seasoned coordinator or someone eager to lend your organization skills to support Democratic candidates and values in Hendricks County, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a passionate, effective committee.

What We’ve Accomplished Together

You won't be starting from scratch—you'll be stepping into a well-oiled machine with fantastic momentum and an active team! Here is a glimpse at what our committee has achieved recently:

• 2026 DDD Success: We officially wrapped up our 2026 DDD, bringing in a record profit of over $7,000!
• Strong Sustainable Funding: Through our Recurring Contributions campaign, we’ve built a foundation of $9,600+ in annual support. These dependable donations cover crucial day-to-day party essentials like meeting room rent, paper, ink, and event supplies.
• Grassroots Support in Action: At each monthly HCDParty meeting, our 50/50 drawing brings people together for a bit of fun. In July, our lucky winner took home $109—and generously donated nearly half of it right back to support our candidates and campaign efforts!
• Cross-Committee Collaboration: We also work closely with our Outreach Committee, whose regular dinners help fund key community visibility efforts like our HCDP Parade Float and our annual booth at the 4-H Fair.

What We’re Working on Right Now

Our team stays busy with several exciting initiatives currently underway:

1. 2026 HH Dinner Preparation: We are actively assembling invitation kits (stamps, envelopes, labels, and return envelopes). Mark your calendar: Our Invitation Stuffing Party is set for August 8, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM in the Pearson Conference Room at the Brownsburg Library!
2. Digital Fundraising Expansion: Team members Deb and Neil are leading a new project to modernize and expand our digital fundraising strategy.
3. Strategic Event Planning: After research showed our traditional "US 40, National Road Yard Sale" lacked a permanent home, we adapted our strategy and moved our big garage sale push to May 2027.
