Our first Dems & Dinner event was a success! With over 25 people and at least 6 candidates in attendance - it was a fun, loud, and uplifting time! And by coincidence it was the same day as the Obama Library opened in Chicago.
As Michelle Obama reminded us, “that’s the work of democracy too. Being neighborly. Taking care of public spaces. Having some fun enjoying each other. Shaking out of the isolation and division that have crept too deeply into our lives.”
Consider joining us at the upcoming Pride Festival (June 28, noon-5 PM Washington Township Park) or at one/both parades on July 4th.
Join us at the July monthly Party Meeting for a “cook-in” dinner of pulled chicken bbq and mac & cheese to celebrate our country’s 250th birthday with no fights!
