April Monthly Meeting Recap

At the April 14th Hendricks County Democrats meeting, Drew Cox, Congressional District 4 candidate, presented his platform covering healthcare reform, agricultural and economic policy, youth voter engagement, and regulatory positions on Citizens United, AI in education, and reproductive rights, followed by a Q&A.
Local candidates Nancy Stinson, Karen O’Brien, Jered Petrey, Stan Albaugh, and Ted Baggesen each shared priorities ranging from affordable housing and township governance to transparency, infrastructure, and budget accountability.
Committee reports noted approved March minutes, strong fundraising activity, successful outreach and precinct efforts, expanded engagement through live streaming, and several upcoming events.
The first daily draw was announced, with daily draw tickets still available for purchase at in-person events like Dems and Deli, Dine to Donate at 2 Guys Pies and Bowling! A new winner will be drawn each day until the May Monthly Meeting on May 12th.
